Radio Times from the eighties, which
are printed offset (glossy paper rather than newsprint) are smaller in width
and length than copies from the 1920s through to the early 80s (although, with
a higher page count, heavier). As a result, they can be sent as Large
Letters, rather than Small Parcels. So, to try to avoid confusion, they are
listed differently to the others I'm selling, as having 'free postage'.
However, if you want to include any glossy paper editions alongside earlier
editions, I'll adjust the overall postage to offer the best deal
possible.
For overseas buyers, it may be worth
considering International Economy (surface mail) rather than International
Standard (Airmail). The package will take longer to arrive, but there's a big
saving in cost! Here is the Radio Times for 21-27 February 1987. This is the East
edition, sold originally for 35p. The cover features Nerys Hughes, who stars alongside Freddie Jones
in a new series of The District Nurse. There's a two-page preview, explaining
that while many things have changed for the new run, the hats are just as
awful! Inside Features: ·
