There is a velcro tape band under the box (The shape of the original box makes it bend backwards, making the box unstable to stand on it's own. The velcro can be used to maintain it in place without having to have something holding it from behind.)
The box elastics of the backpack have broken so it's loose in the box but still held by the cardboard.
