For sale is a set of Thai Burma railway Prisoner of War medals & effects, comprising: 1939 – 45 Star, Pacific Star, Defence, War Medal (1939 – 45) & Australian Service Medal 1939 – 45 both impressed named WX11799 W. V. Bell. Swing mounted as worn, with original Japanese issued POW dog tag, with Bell's details scratched into the reverse, original documents, including a note book with written details, pay book, pre war photos, post card and copy discharge certificate. 1995 dated copy newspaper articles and hand written biographical notes from Bell and signed hand over sheet when these were bought from him in 2000. 

All his details can be found in these documents, so I won't bore you all with a write up here. A fascinating group, fresh to the market and one which tells a now fading story of a lucky escaper from jap captivity.
