For UK buyers, my postage charge is based on £3.69, the actual cost at the Post Office counter, then 51p to cover a new Jiffy padded envelope, card stiffeners, comic bag and the percentage of the postage taken by Ebay.

Combined postage - For buyers in the UK. I only need to charge you p&p for the first magazine. Any extra purchases will be sent at no additional cost - you only pay for that first magazine.

For overseas buyers, I aim to charge just the basics; the postage cost, the envelope and packaging cost, plus Ebay's surcharge, nothing more. To save money, please consider International Economy (surface mail). It's slower, but in some cases, only about half the cost of Airmail (International Standard).

Here is the Radio Times for 27 January - 2 February 1973. This is the South West edition, sold originally for 5p.

The cover shows the stately figure of Dorothy L Sayers' dapper detective, Lord Peter Wimsey. Wimsey is portrayed by the much-missed Ian Carmichael, who inside pays a visit to the world of London's gentleman's clubs.

 features inside include:

  • a page and a half interview with film legend Edward G Robinson
  • half a page on Don McClean (McClean? Yes I had a McBath this morning!)
  • a one-page interview with W. H. Auden
  • a picture of Marc Bolan with Cilla Black accompanies the listing for her Saturday night show
  • short pieces on Barbara Shelley and Sheila Armstrong
  • Jon Pertwee stars in part 1 of the Doctor Who adventure Carnival of Monsters and a thumbnail drawing of the Tardis accompanies the listing

The magazine is in generally good condition, clean and flat, with no clippings or annotations. However, in common with many magazines from this time, there's some transfer of ink from colour pages to adjacent pages, including the front cover.

Payment would be expected within seven days, unless organised in advance.

The magazine will be posted in a new Jiffy Mailmiser/Airkraft padded envelope with card stiffeners.
