This is an original press photo. Lieutenant Colonel Leroy King has been assigned as senior military advisor for the New Orleans Air Force Reserve Recovery Group and Squadron. Formerly he was education and training officer with the 2485th Air Force Reserve Sector, Shreveport. Colonel King, who will complete 20 years of active duty October 1, was a troop carrier pilot during World War II. He also has served as an Air Force Reserve Officers Training Corps instructor at Butler university in Indianapolis, as troop carrier squadron commander in Miami, as air base support commander in Saudi Arabia and with a pilot support squadron for navigators in Texas.
