ITEMS CONDITION:

OPTICALLY: EXCELLENT / EXCELLENT+
there's NO deep scratches, deep 'cleaning marks', cracks or any other serious damages on glasses; there's NO fungus, haze, fog or separations or any other serious damages inside optical construction; lens can have few MICRO 'cleaning marks' on glasses / inside optical construction and few MICRO marks/spots on external coatings, what is normal in old lenses; lens can have few paint missing on inside metal / glass elements, what is not even optical issue, but we think, it should be mentioned in description; lens can have some pieces of MICRO dust inside optical construction; lens was checked on lens projector and it shows good optical performance and gives flat image, but as many 18mm lenses (OKC5-18-1 model), it is quite soft wide open

MECHANICALLY: EXCELLENT / EXCELLENT+
focus ring works very smooth, as good, as it can work in old Russian lens; focus ring works with micro backlash on it, but we do not think, it is something to worry about, as it is minimal; in general, there are no problems with focusing at the moment; aperture ring works smooth and fine; both rings sounds a bit gritty, when in use, but this is quite normal in vintage lenses with old greases and it is not even mechanical issue; aperture stops to the end without any problems; aperture blades with NO grease on them; lens has de-clicked aperture; lens checked with manual Chrosziel follow focus unit and it is working fine with this unit; we think this lens is also very good for electronic follow focus units, when used gently, with no extra force

VISUALLY: EXCELLENT- / EXCELLENT
there are some NORMAL signs of use on lens casing, as can be seen on real pictures; casing has some scratches and some paint missing (mostly re-painted); lens scales are in good shape (focus scales very visible, aperture scales visible, maybe need re-paint); there are NO serious damages on lens casing
