19th CENTURY FRENCH OIL ON CANVAS
“ Flowers and butterfly "
A very nice 19th century french oil on canvas which is signed lower right “Ponthieu” we think but we cannot locate the painter. The work depicts an arrangement of flowers in a garden with a solitary butterfly hovering in the centre of the work. The painting is in its original frame and has not been relined or restored. A great decorator painting.
