This is a vintage nesting Japanese Kokeshi nodder doll family set consisting of a father and mother with a son and daughter nesting within the parents.  The mother and father measure 2.63 inches high each.  They come with their original washi paper covered presentation boxes and they were hand painted on wood.  

The condition of this set is excellent and their age is from the 1960's. New from old stock.
