This Super Galaxy Tandem has been synonymous with high-level touring for decades now.

Built with Reynolds 531 tubing high-carbon alloy that offers a uniform grain structure, this gives it a strong, seamless, and consistent structure. With a 23” front seat tube and a 21.5” rear seat tube.

There are no issues with any cracks to the frame. It’s never been crashed or dropped.

The 700mm x 32mm alluminium wheels are fitted with Schwalbe Delta Cruiser Tyres. The rims have not been damaged and run true.

The Super Galaxy has a 27-speed derailleur drivetrain derailing the chain from one chain ring or sprocket to another, on the 48/36/26 chainwheel, which transitions excellently.

The brakes are Weinman Centre pull canti-lever style plus a drum brake on rear.

The FSA Drophandle bars will be newly retaped when you pick up the bike.

The bike's running gear has been spotlessly cleaned, as have the mud guards.

The Tandem weight is 14 Kg

If you want to register for insurance and   traceability. the frame number is HADEN 07548

Condition:  I was tempted to say as new condition after all these years because the only issue is a few minor scratches that can't be polished out on the cross bar without removing the Model Decals.

You've seen the rest now buy the best.

Front and rear stems are adjustable, as are the front and rear wheel and seatposts. The frame has mounting for tyre pump. equipt with a rear aluminium pannier rack. plus 3 bottle cages front and rear mudguards.

The photo shows the only customisations from as new, which you can easily revert, of rear turned up bars and a big saddle(s) which makes for a comfortable ride on the pillion for the lady wife, daughters or whomsoever.

With the drop handlebars down, you can race to your hearts content.

The bicycle comes with a tool bag containing spanners,  tyre lever, puncture kit, plus allen keys to adjust handle bars and stems to your taste.

So, in summary, my wife, and daughters who are now in their forties, and I have had this fabulous bike for years, and its virtually as good now as it was then!

I remember at the time it was £650 new - the price of the mini car we owned in 1973 before we had kids ! It has certainly outlived all the cars!

We've had marvellous fun on it, but sadly, it will cost too much to ship to the USA, and I will be sad to see it go but happy for the next family to enjoy.
