OPTICALLY: PERFECT- / PERFECT
there's NO deep scratches, deep 'cleaning marks', cracks or any other serious damages on lens glasses; there's NO fungus, haze, fog, separations or any other serious damages inside optical construction in this lens; maybe two/three really MICRO 'cleaning marks' on glasses coatings, but we do not see them, we just mention about it, as we always can miss something during evaluation; maybe two/three really MICRO marks/spots on glasses coatings, what is quite normal in old Carl Zeiss Jena lenses; few pieces of MICRO dust inside optical construction, but nothing to worry about; this lens was checked on lens projector and it shows excellent optical performance and gives flat image

MECHANICALLY: PERFECT- / PERFECT
focus ring works very smooth, as for old Carl Zeiss Jena vintage lens; there is no problem with focusing at all at the moment; lens works a BIT unregular in maybe one place, which is very common in Carl Zeiss Jena lenses, but this is almost not noticeable during focusing; aperture ring works smooth and fine, but aperture ring is a bit loose, probably factory mistake; aperture stops to the end without any problems; aperture blades with NO grease on them, close to the end; lens has de-clicked aperture; lens is professionally converted to ARRI PL mount, reach infinity without any problems; lens should work with every Arri PL mounted camera on the market; lens was checked with manual Chrosziel follow focus unit and it is working fine

VISUALLY: PERFECT- / PERFECT
there are just few MICRO to LIGHT signs of use on lens casing, as can be seen on real pictures; lens casing has few minimal scratches and few minimal paint missing, that is normal in used lens; lens scale numbers are in good shape, still visible; there are NO serious damages on lens casing, like serious dents or cracks
