VINTAGE BLUE ENAMEL ENAMELWARE OVAL TUB WASH BASIN BABY BATH w/ SOAP DISH
This is the nicest example of a vintage enamel basin - bath - wash tub or dish pan I have seen.

It is in a rather unusual  chambray blue, or sky blue color.

AND it has two large handles. AND it has a soap dish attached at one end.

Tub is approx. 17" long, 19" through the handles.

It would look great in your country kitchen or bathroom. Or in any area of country shabby chic decor.

It would also be an adorable addition to a nursery.. Or very pretty with flowers or potted plants.

This is an original, older piece - probably made in the 1940's era.

Enamelware - sometimes called graniteware - is made with a base metal of steel, aluminum,

or iron that is covered with a glass like material referred to as porcelain enamel.  A very old process 

that originated centuries ago...

For it's age it is in very nice condition, with a minimum of damage: very few dings or loss of enamel.
