FABULOUS LACY TEDDY + ROBE SET

This delightful vintage teddy and robe set is by respected US lingerie makers Delicates.
In pink, it is made from soft, light bias-cut satin, with a stylised woven floral pattern that catches the light as you move, and lavish sheer lace trims.
The teddy is a gently tailored style with princess seams front and back. There's a deep border of sheer lace at the neckline, a rosette bow at the cleavage and strippy shoulder straps. The lower part has borders of inset lace around the legs.
The back of the teddy is cut straight and fairly low with gentle elastication at the top and the derrière offers good coverage, if a little cheeky! The crotch is unlined, fastening with three enclosed snaps.
The matching short robe is a classic wrapover style with lacy front edges. The sleeves have deep lace cuffs too - see photos. There's an inner tie so it hangs nicely, a sash belt (not original!) and a concealed pocket in the side seam.
Size notes: labelled Large, I'd say the teddy is more of a Medium! It suits a larger 34 or 36-38"-ish bust. (Maybe a little more if you don't mind it snug, as the back is low and the bias-cut satin has some 'give'!) The length from the top of the shoulders to the crotch is 31". (Please measure yourself to make sure it will fit!) The robe, labelled One Size, fits the same size range and larger, and can of course be worn open. It is 36" long, from shoulder to hem.
The set is in excellent condition overall, with crisp, original inner labels. There are a couple of teensy snags from storage but that's being very picky! The belt is not original but it's a pretty good match - please see photos. The set has been freshly laundered so it is ready to wear. (Looks new!)
An elegant and very desirable teddy set - perfect for a night of seduction... Recommended.
