Antique Steel Cut Micro Beaded Cherry Blossoms Made in France Gold Frame Purse

This antique steel cut micro beaded cherry blossoms Made in France gold frame purse dates from 1900. It is made of a tiny micro steel cut beads in silver, gold, copper, iridescent pink and blue hand beaded in a decorative cherry blossom floral pattern design on both sides. This beautiful beaded handbag evening purse has an engraved etched decorative design gold frame with a push button clasp closure, an adjustable doubled gold chain link strap on the top, twisted beaded bottom fringe, is fully lined in an iridescent yellow silk fabric which is fraying exposing a muslin lining remaining underneath and has a "Made in France" label sewn inside. The purse measures 8 inches long, with an additional 1 1/2 inch long fringe bottom and is 6 1/2 inches wide. It is in good condition, with only the inside silk lining having frayed splits needing to be replaced. This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Art Nouveau steel cut beaded purse art!
