Purchased on 01/12/2015 to successfully teach daughter to drive. She has driven it uneventfully through her school and university days. Now a city girl who uses public transport and has no need for a car, and very rarely home in the country so Dad runs it for local trips to keep it ticking over, but has enough vehicles to contend with without an extra "mouth to feed!!"
Always starts first time and is a good little runner, turbo powered with great acceleration, and a great driving experience.
Body work has a few dents and scrapes but nothing major. The dash occasionally shows a light for engine and oil, which has been occurring intermittently since purchase, told it was faulty sensors,never bothered to investigate further and spend out for replacements. Never seemed to affected its performance.
Car is fitted with a Dash cam and has a VW bespoke roof rack.
