Gorgeous 1937 Frosted Satin Crystal Art Deco Maiden Table/Radio Lamp

A Gorgeous 1937-38 Frosted Satin Crystal Art Deco Lady Table/Radio Lamp by the Mantle Lamp Company of America (Aladdin).  The figurine was originally designed in the mid-1920’s by L. Sevin for the Etling Glass Shop in Paris.  Several companies used her design during the 1930’s.  This is a hard-to-find Aladdin G-130 Frosted Lamp with the tall harp & Fat-Boy Socket being replaced with a period Chrome Intermediate E-17 Socket with a deflector.  My husband bought this Art Deco ‘Radio’ Lamp for me in the 1990’s at the then popular & now historical AWA (Antique Wireless Association) Annual Conference and Radio Meet in Rochester, NY.  And it’s been adorned atop one of our vintage Zenith Console Radios ever since!

The Scantily Clad Figurine is in VG Condition with a small chip around the glass base and a couple of small air bubbles in the figurine that can be seen in my pics.  There is also some roughness along the mold line at the peak of her forehead that you can feel, but is hard to see.  The cast base with a brass finish has patinated w/some wear to the finish.  The Overall Condition, commensurate with its age of 87 yrs along with its use over that time, is Very Good.

The overall height of the deco lamp measures 12-1/2” tall by 7” wide with a 6” diameter base.  The lamp weighs just under 4-1/2 lbs before packing.

Being offered here at a reasonable ‘Buy It Now' price….. or you can simply ‘Make An Offer’ as I’m always willing to negotiate!  All offers will be seriously considered!
