For sale is a rare DATED 1854 19th Century water color portrait of an old lady in black attire. The art work is well done to depict all the details of this colonial woman. It is signed on the bottom right “Gregory Pinx 1854”

The frame measures approximately 6.5” by 4.5”. Excellent condition for the image. No water stain or any other types of damage. Some flooding and age stain but does not distract. The hanging hoop on the top of the frame is installed later but sturdy and ready to hang. Nice patina! Please check all photos for detailed condition.

Overall, a rare-to-find artistically made water color early portrait art in well preserved condition. It should not be missed by any serious collectors for antique primitive/ early American folk art/ antique drawing and portrait art.
