| This vintage gold metallic lame lace purple velvet trim edge dress evening gown dates from the 1930s. It is made of a sheer gold metallic thread lame lace fabric with a floral pattern. This gorgeous gold gown evening dress has a long floor length, form fitting sexy backless style, with purple velvet braided shoulder straps, decorative button trim accents on the front top, crinoline horse hair trim lining the bottom hemline ruffle for added stiffness, back hook snap closures and is fully lined in a blush nude color nylon slip sewn inside. The dress measures 57 inches long, with a 34 inch bust, 24 inch waist and 34 inch hips. It is in good condition, with only some faint discoloration under the arms of the slip lining inside and a few small breaks in the gold lace under the arms and on the back closure (see close-ups). This is truly an exceptional piece of Art Deco wearable art! |
