This is an art deco, flush mount two-bulb ceiling fixture.  Original patina, polychromatic.  Has the original wiring, but an easy to rewire design.

SIZE: About 12" x 17", extends a bit over 5" down from the ceiling including the finial.

DATE: Circa 1930s
