For sale is an Antique 18th or 19th century wooden Quilting / sewing clamp with original pin cushion with a wooden screw design. 

Quilting clamps would have been uses to hold four boards together in a square for stretching fabric over. 

This example is particularly nice due to the decorative turned body with some remnant of the original black paint.  It is rare to see such added flair on these practical items.  It is in excellent condition and would make an excellent addition to a antique primitive collection or as part of an authentic antique quilt exhibit. 

Great condition with age appropriate wear and loss to the pin cushion surface fabric.
