[Additional Information]
Kanetaka(金高) is said to have been a Seki smith in Mino Province, starting in the Eiroku period and continuing for several generations until around the Genroku period. This Kanetaka is a first generation work. Generally speaking, most Seki smiths use the character "kane(兼)," but there are a few who do not use this character, and Kanetaka is one of them.
Koshirae is a Saya using fancy mother-of-pearl inlay of shells, and Fuchi is unusually large, measuring 4 cm in diameter. Tukamaki is rolled in the most prestigious "Tsumami-maki". It is a very spectacular koshirae.
The current NBTHK Hozon is a Katana that can definitely pass muster.
