This is a good example of an old used oil lamp burner & wick as used in the steam times on the BR system and other as per the photos .It is in good solid condition with the steel top  burner as per the photos . It would transform that old lamp very well . It will slot into a standard 23.5 mm aperture in the reservoir standard in BR days  - adjuster shaft approx 40mm to the burner centre for adjustment .
