Original 1830s Working Color Pencil Drawing from Lizars/Jardine Artist Edward Lear #2

The size of this drawing is approximately: 6 1/8" x 8 3/4" (cut from the drawing book)
Size of the Naturalist's Library plate: approx. 4 x 6 1/2 inches

An ORIGINAL color pencil drawing attributed to Edward Lear. Though not signed, the quality of the drawing is by far superior to any amateur drawings. One note; I have noticed online that there are a number of similar original drawings with the same photocopied information page talking about the "book" that these drawings came from. I am actually in the possession of the actual artist's book which these drawings came from and I have taken a couple of pictures of the disbound book to show all that this is the actual "drawing" book (book not included, either is the pic showing the watermark) used by the artist or possibly artists for the "Naturalist's Library" originally published between 1833 and 1844.

William Jardine produced and published the Naturalist's Library and William Home Lizars Printed the hand-colored steel plate engravings for the work using many well known and famous artists including Edward Lear. The interesting thing is I have a number of drawings(such as this one which I will include) that I can match up to the actual engraving done for the Naturalist's Library.

Also note that the photocopied information paper is also full of errors as it was made many, many years ago.
