Dainese Ducati Battle of the Twins

Size 50  Dainese

Very good condition

Lovely jacket - Has it's liner and armour,

If you are a fan of Ducati nothing more needs to be said.

Here's the blurb those those who don't know!!

A year before the creation of the World Superbike Championship, former MotoGP World Champion (1981) Marco Lucchinelli gave Ducati a Pivotal triumph on the famous "Battle of the Twins" race at Daytona. His bike wore the number 618 and the famous eighties Ducati Logo designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro that would no longer be used on official Ducati racing machines (The Cagiva font logo replaced Giugiaro's logo in 1988). It was the end of an era that started with Mike Hailwood's win at the Isle of Man TT in 1978 who used the same Giugiaro Logo on his bike.

This beautiful jacket was designed to honor Marco Lucchinelli's 1987 win.
It is no longer manufactured and has become one of the hardest to find Dainese items sought by many Ducati enthusiasts.

  • Eighties Ducati Logo designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro is present at the front, back and sleves.
  • Includes removable insulated liner
  • CE approved hard armor in the shoulders and elbow/forearms.
  • Accordian leather is used on the back of the shoulders to maintain fit and unrestricted movement.
  • There are two position snaps at the bottom sides of the jacket to customize the fit.
  • Snaps are also used to close the sleeve cuffs and the collar.
  • Really hard to find
