Antique Cast Iron Inkwell


From the early 1900's, this heavy ink bottle holder is in Very Good Condition.

Preserved for many years. Has formed some light rust inside. Not much pitting.

These antique items remain in original condition. Never cleaned or dusted off.

Includes 2 empty and dried out "HIGGINS" glass ink bottles. One with original box (top flaps missing).

The labels on each bottle are in Excellent Condition.

The 2 cork plugs are stuck on the bottles and broken off below the plastic caps. The caps sit well with the inner center stem attached.

The top of the unit has 2 indented slots to rest the fountain pens.

The top screws off the bottom base to insert the ink bottle.

The bottom base has a hole in the center so it can be attached to a table top.

Measures: 3 1/8" diameter base x 1 1/2" tall and weighs 12 oz (without ink bottle).
