These lovely wall hangers could be used for so many different purposes in so many different rooms...very useful bracket hooks for hanging swing sconce light sockets, plants, or lanterns in a cabin, or to hold a bathrobe, or hats & coats by a door, AND they conveniently swing flat to a wall when not in use. They each measure outward  approx. 10" when mounted to a wall, and they swing flat against the wall to about 1 -1/4"...the depth of the iron bracket. The wood thickness is  3/4" of solid oak ~ very sturdy and secure with no problems anywhere.
