MINT- perfect- only used for sealed records or Like New books


EXCELLENT- record has no scuffs or scratches but May have a slight smudge or two. Jacket May or may not have cellophane and some very minor scuffs/marks.

For books, dust jacket May have slight scratches or marks and level and of scuffing and wear with slightly more pronounced bumping. There may be light foxing on page ends. Books marked with a remainder mark or old but minor water damage fall into this category.


VERY GOOD - as above but more severe and May have seam splits, name written and deeper scratches.


GOOD- as above but more scratches and splits and damage to cover.

For books, this may be deemed an acceptable reading copy. There may be a large spine gap or split


Antique books are grading along the same way but provided more leeway in consideration of their age.
