• The latch is SOLID CAST IRON that have a great Victorian Eastlake pattern.
• The cast IRON T knob has a neat pattern
• There is some dark remnants of copper wash on the surface
• The old finish was removed along with the layers of old oil based paint.
• A set of Rustic copper color screws is included.
• The cast iron has a rustic look.
• The latch was cleaned and oiled to prevent rust
• I added a few drops of oil so it will be ready to use.
• It is ready for paint. Just wash with soap and water.
• Leave it as it is to age naturally or repaint it.
• The Latch is 2 1/2" long with the keeper 
• It is 2 1/8" wide.
