This is a vintage Betmar hat. I believe it would be called a pillbox hat. It is made of ruched cream chiffon and gathered to create a pillowy cloud above a wide band that forms on the head. I believe it dates to the 1950s but I am not certain. It does include the original hat pin that is tucked inside the band. It measures 22" circumference which I believe is a size 7. It is perfect for a church wedding or other formal event. It is in very good condition. There is one small spot on the very top of the hat. It is quite clean and wears its age well.
