Old Jelly Cupboard Cabinet Door Turn Button Latch 1 7/8" Back Plate Vintage 1850

These old turn latches were often used on kitchen cabinets and jelly cupboards in the mid 1800's.

The Turn button with the 1/2 round plate is put on the frame and the small 1/2 round piece is put on the door to prevent wear.
The old finish was removed along with the layers of old oil based paint.
A set of vintage screws is included.
The cast iron has a rustic look.
The latch was cleaned and oiled to prevent rust
It is ready for paint. Just wash with soap and water.
Leave it as it is to age naturally or repaint it.
