For sale is a unique antique 19th century American hand carved folk art wooden maple sugar MOLD with deeply carved design of a lady’s face on a beautiful maple block. The carving is particularly deep and detailed. The patina of the wood is rich and smooth! Very primitive and aged look. Found in VT maple country.

The mold measures 11.5” long. It is in good antique condition. Some aged cracks near the ends but nothing serious. Age appropriate wears and imperfections are to be expected. Please see all photos for detailed condition.

Overall, a great rare example of early American folk art carved Treen piece ready to be added to your antique primitive/ early Americana/ Treen ware collection.
