Elvis (2022)
Custom Carnival props.
These "Carnival" props were acquired by production
for use by various actors and as set dressing.
Includes:
1 x popcorn bag,
1 x milkshake cup,
1 x snow cone cup
& various concession stubs.
Plus a section of the "Chow Tent" (and a piece of guy line rope) that we see the carnys & Colonel Tom using early in the film (also later on when Jimmie Rodgers Snow attempts to emulate Elvis' style on the dining table).
The tent is quite damaged in sections so I'm salvaging some of it & sharing a number of swatches which would look great framed.
The dining (chow) tent is a significant prop, being that it's the place (in the movie at least) where the Colonel first hears of Elvis and where we are introduced to the Colonel's motivations & business model.
**The "Snowman" motif & the Colonel's connection with it features strongly throughout the film.
The art department's 'nod' to that connection can be seen in the use of the custom snowman graphic on the snow cone cup.
These items were purchased at the "Elvis" movie prop asset sale auction which took place in Feb/March 2022.
