5B Vertical "Coke Bottle" Steam Engine Bronze Casting Kit

Clearing out the workshop of my late uncle. He had machined several steam kits over the years, this is one of many kits that he never got around to building.

Kit is complete with all parts, as ordered from P.M. Research in 1992 - copy of original receipt will be included.

Buyer will receive the (2) pages of technical drawings that came with the kit.

The kit features what I believe to be bronze castings that will require machining in order to build the kit.

I know that this kit is still available thru P.M. Research, however there are some differences. This kit offers a bronze base, the new kit has an aluminum base. I believe the newer kits have a formed crankshaft, this kit requires the builder to machine the crankshaft. These are the two obvious differences that I could identify.

I do not want to "borrow" a picture of a completed model from P.M. Research, but you can visit their website to see an example of a finished model.
