DESCRIPTION
Offered is this superb Hammered Silver Sixpence of Queen Elizabeth 1st. Coin is dated 1562, is of the 3rd issue and shows the Pheon mint mark. Interestingly the coin has been countermarked and I have not seen this type of countermark before. This coin has no chips or cracks. It is a beautiful and rare coin in good condition but please see the high res images of this coin to determine condition and full ID for yourself.
