Wide Dovetail Plate for Celestron C8/C8HD/8SE(Evolution)/CPC800(HD) Telescope
Features for dovetail plate:
1. Fits pre-drilled holes in the front and rear cells of current 8'' Schmidt-Cassegrain and 8'' EdgeHD Optical tubes
2. Aluminum bar with orange anodizing provides a sturdy mounting platform
3. Easy to install and comes complete with all necessary hardware
4. This dovetail plate attaches to the underside of a Celestron 8'' Schmidt-Cassegrain optical tube, bolting to the tube's front and rear cell. It will also work with AVX, EQ6, CGX, EQ8 ect. equatorial mounts
5. The plate has the standard 74mm wide dovetail flanges underneath that fit into the Celestron and Losmandy dovetail saddles (the Losmandy D-plate standard).
6. The top of the plate is curved to fit the Celestron optical tube. New longer screws is supplied to bolt the plate to the optical tube after you remove the shorter screws in the tube

Usage:
1. This dovetail bar allows you to replace the narrow dovetail bar found on most Celestron 8'' Schmidt-Cassegrain and EdgeHD optical tubes with a wider dovetail
2. Dovetail clamp can be installed on the plate to install a variety of accessories such as finder scope/ guide scope/ guide box/ camera ect.
