This auction is for an Ultimate Soldier/21st Century WWII German Me-262A-2 in 1:32 scale. These Ultimate Soldier planes are replicas of actual planes that fought in WWII. This plane is known as "Black 4". The Me-262 is one of the most significant aircraft produced since the Wright brothers first flew. It was the first operational jet fighter.  It stunned the Allies when it first appeared in combat, and ushered in the jet age. Black 4 is one of my favorite models. Unlike almost all of the other models in the series which look as though they just rolled out of the factory, Black 4 shows the repair of significant battle damage. The nose is in white primer, and one of a replaced engine cowling is in still in bare metal.  The underside shows numerous bullet hole patches. This model shows how desperate the Germans were to get these planes back into the air. I have included a couple of war time photos from the internet showing the sad end of Black 4. I suspect that these photos were the inspiration for this model. All the graphics and camouflage on this model are painted on, not decals. This is a plastic model. This plane is part of a Dogfight set that I am selling separately, so it DOES NOT come in the original box. It does come in the original shipping tray from which it has not been removed. I marked it as used because of the No Box. The photos of the assembled model are from another auction of mine. Unfortunately, the 21 Century Toy Company that made these is now out of business, so there won't be any more of these made.  These are still some of the best fully painted 1:32 models available. Some minor assembly is required. Ask any questions before bidding. Note: it does not come in the original box.
