The great early-20th-century Broadway composer Jerome Kern first came to prominence with such songs as "They Didn't Believe Me" and "Look for the Silver Lining." Some of his most popular tunes are transposed onto piano rolls in this entrancing set, which includes such selections as "A Fine Romance," "All the Things You Are" (later a regular improvisational vehicle for the great jazz saxophonist Charlie Parker), and the beautiful "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes."
