The 7 & 8 series use a banana Plug (male) inside the meter, not Jack ends (female)...'Do Not purchase if Your Model 260 has a series 7 or 8 suffixed number. *"Jacks" refer to the Female end, whereas "Plugs" are the male ends.
Made in the USA! These are Not made by Simpson, but Vintage, NOS 48"L Test lead set that have rubber insulation! 18AWG....No issues, still bends easily, not dry, like new in condition. There are interchangeable 1/4"-32 threaded female ends on all 4 ends of the test leads.(see photo) This enables any combination of the 6 pairs of 1/4"-32 male threaded tips. The 2mm & 4mm probe ends will fit many early Simpson Meters that use 2mm input jacks...or the newer ones that require un-shrouded 4mm male banana plug ends. The cable length is 48", not including the female molded ends. The Simpson 379 is showing the 2mm plug ends installed, and the Simpson Model 260 is showing the 4mm Banana Plug ends installed. 30 day return policy.
