Vintage Chinese White Silk Embroidered Chicken Rooster Roundels Robe Long Coat

This vintage white silk embroidered chicken rooster roundels robe long coat dates from the 1940s. It is made of a white silk fabric, with colorful embroidered roundels medallions of rooster chickens, flowers and a few precious objects symbols of wealth and good fortune, fish and roosters symbolize fertility, prosperity. This stunning surcoat style robe coat is a long full length, with a mandarin collar, long full sleeves, with reddish orange cinnabar colorful floral fish embroidered cuffs, embroidered black silk trim, purple silk trim edging, blue knotted button toggle closures down the front and is fully lined in a white fine tissue silk fabric. The robe measures 40 inches long, with a 42 inch chest, 42 inch waist, 42 inch hips and a 14 inch neck. It is in excellent condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of Chinese wearable art!
