African Necklace of History

Why do we call these necklaces "of history?"  Because they are!  Each of these amazing pieces is composed mostly of beads that have already adorned countless others.  When you wear or collect one, you keep alive those people's history, culture, and life.  It reminds us that we are truly all related and ties us to our ancestors.
Each necklace is unique.  You wear a one-of-a-kind piece!  They are composed of any of the following:  wood--including olive and ebony, seeds, clay or terra cotta, glass--recycled, molded, powdered, bone, horn, quill, shell, brass, vulcanite, resin, stone, plastic kaolin, paint, stain, cord, thread, and likely more.  Most have barrel clasps, but some have bead and loop and others simply tie.  Please examine the pictures for the exact type.  Please also closely examine the photos because you receive this exact piece of wearable art, with all its authenticity.  If a patina, crack, or flaw appears, we have left it as a part of its character.  (Of course, you can polish or repair if you desire.)  And we believe these have been newly restrung, but if you wish to wear them, we suggest checking out the strength first.
