About the Book

Meyer's four lessons for the harp was originally published in the 1770s, this printing dates from post-1824 which is a few years after Birchall's death and when his business premises moved from 133 New Bond Street to 140 New Bond St. This piece consists of four sonatas, two in E major, and two in F major.

Condition

Good condition for age. As mentioned, and as is usual for music of this age, the sheets are disbound, though there has been an attempt to tape it to the spine (this has now started to perish). There is some age-related toning throughout with the bottom corner snipped from the front and first page but without loss of text. The score remains readable and the plate marks are visible.
