Lionel Early Postwar FLYING SHOE COUPLERS, NO KNUCKLES, FOUR Pieces, NOS C-2

This lot consists of FOUR early coil couplers, as installed on Flying Shoe trucks in the first few years after WWII.

THEY ARE INCOMPLETE!  Missing the knuckle, spring, pin and rivet.  The fiber tab which holds the coil wire is intact...but operation of the knuckle has NOT been tested.  Selling these for you to complete, or scavenge the good parts from.

These were either not installed by Lionel in the factory, or were taken off production items.  Some have had the solder lug which connects to the coil soldered, most were not.  I see no evidence that the knuckles were ever installed or riveted.

Priced with casual repair guys / gals in mind.

Combined shipping is available - Put items in your cart, [DO NOT use 'Buy it Now'] Commit to buy them, then REQUEST a TOTAL to get my discounted invoice. (Do not pay immediately!)  eBay is better at refunding over- payments now, but still keeps ALL sales tax when a refund is processed (so YOU don't get full credit back.)

NEED OTHER PARTS?  Visit my eBay store (several places on this page to click) then browse the categories for the eras / gauges of parts you need along the left margin.  <--  I have them grouped by era, and type of usage to make things easier to find.  Common parts are listed where they were most prevalently used.

I encourage offers if you are interested in a quantity (>6) purchase. Bulk quantities are available (25 or more) on some items.  If you want a bunch, let me know - but DO NOT ask 'do you have more of those'.  That's a violation of eBay rules.  And...I really don't want to negotiate prices on single items.

I am happy to ship worldwide. Duties and Taxes are the buyers responsibility.

PLEASE leave me feedback when you have received your shipment.  Once I know you have it, AND ARE HAPPY, I'll leave feedback for you.
