Victorian Antique White Lace Silk Cherry Blossom Carved Celluloid Folding Hand Fan

This antique Victorian era white lace silk cherry blossom carved celluloid folding hand fan dates from the late 19th century. It is made of a sheer white needlerun net tambour lace with sheer silk hand painted white cherry blossom flowers outlined in silver. This lovely lace fabulous folding hand fan has decorative carved bone style celluloid sticks and guards with a ring, rivet holding it together on the bottom, fancy silk lace inserts on the front and is backed in a sheer white tissue silk fabric. The fan measures 9 inches long and is 17 inches wide when opened up. The fan is in good as-is condition with several splits frays on the silk (see close-ups). This is truly an exquisite piece of antique Victoriana lace fan art!
