Vintage love seat. Wooden Settle.

When we bought this from an antique shop 15 years ago we were told it was a Settle however the word settle doesn’t seem to be commonly used for these chairs.

It’s been a lovely addition to a bay window in bedrooms and hallways in our last couple of places but recent renovations mean it’s time for a new home.

It’s a very “light use” kind of seat so really for more decorative purposes and occasional use.

There is a slight split to one corner pictured and this has been there since we got it and the light coloured fabric has discoloured a little but it’s overall a very decorative seat.
