Submitted for your bidding is is an antique, completely hand crafted in platinum (not cast, made from sheet, square wire and tiny tubes by a Master Craftsman almost 100 years ago). The stones were also individually hand cut with incredible accuracy, especially the sapphires.  It has 25 medium cut diamonds, approx. 3.12 mm round and .12ct. to .13ct., total weight 3.0 ct. to 3.25 ct.  G color, VVS1 (my grading). The only issue I found  is a very tiny chip on one of the diamonds, where the setter raised a bead and used too much pressure equals a chip. It is not noticeable without magnification. The sapphires are perfect 42, approx. weight .02ct., total weight is approx. .84ct. Total pin weight is 4.0 dwt or 6.2g., this includes the platinum, stones and the 14k catch joint and pin. Outside diameter is 30.39 mm (1 3/16"). There are no markings nor hallmarks but I am pretty sure it came from a high-end store in New York City because of the Estate it was part of. ANY questions, please E-Mail, I am not a broker, I am a Jeweler with skills to be able to make a pin like this (except finding matching sapphires like these wold be next to impossible) so please ask before you bid of if you need more detailed pictures.
