Vintage Art Deco Multicolor Striped Beaded Holly Frame Flapper Bag Purse

This vintage Art Deco multicolor striped beaded holly frame flapper bag purse dates from the 1920s. It is made of multicolored glass beads done in black, blue, brown, green and red hand beaded striped pattern design, with a black beaded looped fringe bottom. This beautiful beaded flapper purse has a decorative raised repousse holly design silver plate metal frame with a four sided hinged square top opening, ball kiss clasp closure, a metal chain link strap and is unlined with remnants remaining of the original blue silk lining attached to the silk ombre rosette ribbon work trim along the top. The purse measures 8 inches long, 6 inches wide and has a 12 inch long chain link strap. It is in good as-is condition, with some small faint age spot stains on the beadwork and the metal frame and chain strap has rust discoloration (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of antique beaded purse art!
