Here is some general information about this stereoscopic collectible:

What is Tru-Vue?

It is a stereoscopic photography system that preceded View-Master.  It consists of a strip of stereo pairs in black and white.  There are usually 14 stereoscopic pairs in each strip.  The photography dates from the 1930s and 1940s.  Usually there is a date at the end of the strip.

How does Tru-Vue work?  You use a Tru-Vue viewer (not included here, but I might have a selection available in my other listings) thread the film through one side of the viewer. Once the film is inside the viewer, you pull the lever at the bottom, and you advance from one scene to the next.  When you are done, you simply pull the strip out from the same side you threaded it.
