On offer today is a fantastic mid 19th century William IV Pair of Hallmarked Silver Queens Oyster pattern sauce ladles. Double struck.
Assayed in London. 

Oyster heel.

They are dated 1834. Year letter t. Maker is Jonathan Hayne. 
Hallmarks are deep and clear.

The length is quite large at 7.25 inches. They weigh a combined 178 grams (5.72 troy ounces) and each piece is made of very thick gauge silver throughout. Each is engraved to the front and is in terrific order. Bowls have no wear. 

Crested with an animal's head.

Stem is really thick and strong.

A really useful pair of ladles. 

This pattern is sought after.

A rare and special set.
