Halvetic 180 SL (glyphosate) - herbicide

Halvetic - an effective agent in combating weeds

What are the benefits of using Halvetic?

For the control of a wide range of weeds,

For use with self-propelled or tractor field sprayers,

Reduces the consumption of the active substance per hectare by half,

In the form of a concentrate (convenience),

Works in hard water as well as in non-aggressive stress conditions,

Effective in weed control.

Halvetic 180 SL is a herbicide (herbicide). It comes in the form of a water-soluble concentrate (SL).

Halvetic contains glyphosate. The active substance glyphosate inhibits the action of the EPSP synthase enzyme, which is a key metabolic enzyme related to plant biosynthesis.

Halvetic contains a breakthrough, patented glyphosate technology called BGT. It is characterized by the fact that it contains half the dose of the active substance (180 SL), and its field effectiveness of the product is identical, at the same dose per ha, as the standard product (360 SL).

The agent is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor field sprayers.

What is the content of the active substance in Halvetic 180 SL?

The content of the active substance: glyphosate (a compound from the group of phosphonic acid derivatives) in the form of isopropylamine salt - 180 g / l (14.83%).

How does Halvetic work?

Halvetic is taken up through various green parts of plants. Then the agent spreads inside the plant. It also reaches its underground parts, i.e. roots, runners, etc. This is how it causes the entire plant to die.

When will I see the first effects of Halvetic?

You will see the first symptoms of the agent, i.e. yellowing and wilting, 7-10 days after the treatment. After this time, the plants should not be removed, allowing them to die completely, which occurs after 2-4 weeks.

In humid and warm weather, the agent will work faster.

What is the grace period when using Halvetic 180 SL?

The period from the last application of the agent to the day of harvesting the crop, i.e. the grace period is:

- Apple and pear orchards - 7 days,

- Other uses - not required.

What are the recommendations when using Halvetic?

All crops can be grown on the treated field.

Tillage treatments, sowing or planting can be started after 2 days, when the field has been combated with weeds

annual and after 5 days when perennial weeds were eradicated. In the event that the field was fought

at the same time, annual weeds and perennial weeds should be treated after 5 days.

The period from the last application of the product to the plants until the date when the plants can be sown or planted

successive cultivation: 2 - 5 days.

Do not use the plant protection product in public parks and gardens, on sports grounds,

recreation facilities, schools, kindergartens, nurseries and health care facilities.

The dose of the agent should be adjusted to the sensitivity of weed species dominant in a given crop.

Do not use the agent:

– against the emergence of weeds,

– on leaves, shoots and non-woody bark of trees and shrubs due to the possibility of plant damage,

- for wet plants,

– before the expected rain (precipitation occurring within 1 hour after spraying may reduce the effectiveness of the treatment),

– during wind creating the possibility of drifting the usable liquid.

When using the agent, do not allow:

– carrying the spray liquid to the neighboring plantations of cultivated plants,

– overlapping of the usable liquid at the joints of treatment strips and headlands.
