Offering an original and very good condition, WWII blade marked "CASE XX 337-6"Q" fighting knife. These knives were made for quartermaster/field use w/a heavy, thick blade for prying open crates and a checkered pommel for hammering. They were popular w/all servicemen and widely used. It's just over 10 3/4" long w/the blade just over 6". It has light sharpening with an excellent clean and sharp edge. The finish is good showing wear and use w/a worn original finish. The guard is tight, and the leather grip is still very good and solid w/a groove carved out under the pommel. The pommel is solid and excellent. It comes in the original leather sheath which is also in very good condition.  A nice American fighting knife great for display or something that could also be used today.
