How Ebay’s GSP [Global Shipping Programme] works.
A seller lists an item including the correct weight and dimensions for posting / shipping.
The cost to ship this item to the buyer’s confirmed address is then automatically calculated by Ebay.
The seller then forwards the item to the central Ebay warehouse with the relevant reference number. A buyer’s address is unknown to the seller.
The item is then processed by Ebay, updating the parcel with the buyer’s confirmed delivery address with a tracking number etc. and shipped to the buyer.
Any issues with late items and tracking information should be directed to Ebay GSP and not the seller, as GSP will have processed the item from their central hub, details of which, the seller cannot access or enquire about.
IMPORTANT: Please note that a seller CANNOT change the shipping cost(s), added taxes or import costs imposed by the buyer’s country etc. of any listing, the price for shipping seen / quoted at the payment stage is final.
